is for the songbird
to appear
once again in your heart,
with its hope
—of that sound—
that falls upon your ear
and tells you
that life will go on.

And more wondrous delights will be known to you
than the old path
could ever have shown you.

until the time comes
when you return to the starry night;
to then become
one of the many stars
that sits upon God's crown,
and tells Him what it has been
like
to traverse the layers of the world
where,
for the most part,
His complete love
is not known.

that you have found.

The well is very deep
and will not be lost
in this sharing,
for you have made it your home
