Upon God's Crown

God's purest light
shines through your heart
into the deep knowing
of what has been
—when you existed beyond this world
of form,
existing in the starry heavens
and dancing in the whirling void
that gave to all things
its creation.

Yes, you have been this purity
and are that still,
although reformed and ever-changing
until the time comes
when you return to the starry night;
to then become
one of the many stars
that sits upon God's crown,
and tells Him what it has been
like
to traverse the layers of the world
where,
for the most part,
His complete love
is not known.

And there, you will rejoice!
