What's On The Horizon

What's on the horizon?
There is only blue.

May I reach to touch it?
It's already in you.

May I feel the summer breeze?
It's in the warmth of your heart.

Can I hear Your voice calling me?
From it you can never part:

for the touch of Creation
is within your hands.

The light that shines through you
is the love in which you stand.

You are a part of Everything
and this cannot be lost,

and all the beauty that you see
reflects you in the last
instant

when the veil has fallen
and you become
all that you are

—a light that shines within
the greater light
that beholds it all.

An Open Door

'A door ever-open
waits for us to peek through
and listen
to an awareness
that you already knew.

It says
love is always present
and never truly left,
you've just been looking on the outside
for something you thought you'd lost.

Love's whisperings are here for you,
their benevolence given to all.
It's simply through that doorway,
always open,
that you need to explore,

and give to yourself that something
that is already found.

Then dear angel,
child of light,
your feet will not touch the ground,

as heaven's open gate
is found
within you.

Renewal

Billowing clouds sit upon the mountain's peak
with rays of golden light shining through the blue windows
of open skies,

and the sun illumines all that is beheld
in this open field of vision.

A sole leaf twirls amidst the branches,
then carried by the breeze to unknown worlds and destinations,

and grace fills the skies and touches the earth
with its magic
of the wonders of this day
and everyday
under the open skies
of life's renewal.

To Be Discovered

What we are, in each day,
is always unknown,
for it has to be discovered.

Our heart will never be the same
as it was yesterday;
as light's beauty moves through us
it changes everything
—it changes you.

Our song will arise;
the music of our soul
will dance to a new melody,
one that brings to us
a greater joy,
a greater truth,
than we presently know.

We are the light expanding within us,
and what it beholds
can only be known
as we allow it to move through us,
as we allow it to be received,
so that its expression
—of you, as you--
can be known
and be discovered.
