Sunrise

You do not walk those pathways, upon the mountain,
anymore,
for they are simply part of the journey
—the terrain of outer limits--
that point the way home.

Once you stand at the center
you see those pathways, that you've followed,
and allow them to dissolve
—existing, then, beyond your realm of truth.

On this pinnacle you stand
with your face turned towards the rising sun,
that vital force within you,
that light of great Spirit that is you,
and that you have come to know.

You stand and face the Sun
—as a child returned to the light--
and know that this is All
that truly is.

In The Last

When the last of the leaves have fallen
and delicate seeds fall from the sky
—for future growth--
the breeze will stir us,
to urge us
to walk on
to the path
that has no name.

The terrain may look familiar
to what has been before,
but there is always something wild to see,
to cherish
and to assure

that life can be so different
to those who look to their heart
that is ever-opening
to the light
through which we see

the way that lies before us
even as the sun goes out
for there upon our crown we see
a light
that shines so bright.

So, in the last
—when all else has fallen--
it is to that light that we must turn,
that will remain,
that will prevail,
and will be forever more.

This Special Something

There's just this special something
upon which everything rests.

There's just this sacred feeling
that love has blessed.

There are wonders of that Everything
that are brought to us each day

where the symphony of Creation
moves around us
in God's sway.

There's only this One special thing,
call it energy or light.
It's the consciousness behind it All,
it's the love that gives us flight

that lends itself to our existence,
our essence, and our life
in every day.

Fair Maiden

Fair maiden,
forlorn,
think not of what has been,

nor that which has fallen,
fallow,
by your side.

All is nature's way
of clearing
the underbrush
from your spirit

so that your song can arise again
filled with beauty,
filled with the sweetness
of love's truth.

So, do not tarry in yesteryear
for your growth is vital,
protruding forth
as it does
from that place
—within--
that was made for kings,
upon the thrown
of eternal majesty.

It Doesn't Matter

It doesn't matter
where you have been
or the mountains you've tried to climb.

It doesn't matter
where you have fallen
and picked yourself up again.

It only matters
that you are here now
home

in the place
where you are known, in truth,
and where your cup is always filled

by the love
that is heaven
within.

In this
all else dissolves
beyond recognition.

Dancing In Heaven

Dancing to the music of the tide,
of the heart,
where light increases
and brings with it a greater clarity.

Steps are taken upon the shore,
making it my own.

Others have walked here before me,
there footprints still seen.

I cannot walk beside them
nor fulfill their way.
I've had to learn a dance of my own
that sways with the tide of my feeling
and adheres to the music
of my own soul
—that needs her freedom and joy.

Since this arises from the place within me
where God is known,
I can only surmise this way, my way,
is enough for me
and is
what is meant to be.

You Can Look Without

You can look without
your work is done.
The tide has cleared,
the symmetry complete
within soul,
heart,
and mind.

You can look without
to the beauty that's there.
You can taste the breeze,
and capture the air
with one breath
with a sigh of relief.

Your work is done.
Just be,
just breathe,
have peace,
and enjoy the view.

With Both Hands

With both hands
you hold your heart
that is fed by heaven,
as you lay within Our garden, Our paradise.

With both hands
you hold onto Ours
and feel us around you;
We are with you always.

With a shining heart
and smiling soul
you come to us;
your here
you exist inside of Us,

and this is your everything
that you hold onto
with both hands,
and in this you can rejoice
—that's the way its meant to be.
